Water Reasearch Facilities
There are two science laboratories (Hydraulics Laboratory and Water Quality Laboratory) and a Computer Laboratory. The science laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art water quality analysis equipment and physical models for fluid flows simulations. The Computer laboratory is equipped with modern desktop computers for engineering computations and modelling, Geographical Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing Data Processing.
TGE consultancy
Our Consultancy and Services
One of the major activities of the Department of Transportation and Geotechnical Engineering (TGE) is to provide consultancy services to the community. Despite of the teaching load, staff members have continued to do consultancy works through Bureau for Industrial Cooperation (BICO). BICO through professional staff members at the Department was awarded several consultancy works and services as shown on Table 7 and 8 respectively.
