About Us

 

The School of Mines and Geosciences (SoMG) was established in October 2020 by merging two departments from College of Natural and Applied Science (Department of Geology) and College of Engineering and Technology (Department of Chemical and Mining Engineering). The School currently has three academic departments, namely: Department of Geosciences, Department of Mining and Mineral Processing Engineering and Department of Petroleum Science and Engineering.
