Welcome to the official DICT website. With the revolutionary phaces that the globalization is taking, technology is an important aspect. Technology comes with many diversities and conditions that requires proffesional capacity to tap and effectively utilize in various parts of the human life. Information and communication not to be neglected functions proportionaly with technology. There has always been a need to intergrate educational with the impact that Information, communication and  technology carries. This has therefore given a reason for the establishment of the Directorate of ICT at the University of Dar-es-Salaam which enables the tailoring of  educational base of the university to the matters concerning ICT. We offer day-to-day services that in ensuring the digital documentation, management, and utilization of  infomation in the areas of education, innovation, and research a few to mention so that they can be effectively accessed and utilizied by students, staff, alumnis, and even visitors to the University of Dar-es-Salaam. We are also available to provide help and assistance in the areas concerned with ICT in within the University.
