Welcome you to the Communication and Marketing Unit (CMU)

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Communication and Marketing Unit (CMU) webpage. This platform provides information on various components and activities of the Unit as well as the services it offers to the University community and the public at large. The Communication and Marketing Unit aims to foster a positive and enhanced image of the University through improved University communication and marketing within and outside the institution. This, the key functions of the Unit (CMU) relate to official communications, public relations and marketing of the University.

CMU structure comprise three sections namely Corporate Affairs, Protocol and Communications (CAPS) Section; Marketing (Brand, Events and Exhibitions) (MBEE) Section; and News, Media and Digital (NMD) Section. Overall, the Unit is led by the Head, Communication and Marketing (HCMU) who reports to the Vice Chancellor.
